"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easliy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Cor 13:4-8 "Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people. It is the inner struggle to polish these attributes that is the key. Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality." -Ikeda Sensei, Wisdom of Words Archives December 2003 January 2004 February 2004 March 2004 April 2004 May 2004 June 2004 July 2004 August 2004 September 2004 October 2004 November 2004 December 2004 January 2005 February 2005 March 2005 April 2005 May 2005 June 2005 July 2005 August 2005 September 2005 October 2005 November 2005 December 2005 January 2006 February 2006 March 2006 April 2006 May 2006 June 2006 July 2006 August 2006 September 2006 October 2006 December 2006 January 2007 February 2007 March 2007 April 2007 May 2007 June 2007 July 2007 August 2007 September 2007 October 2007 November 2007 December 2007 January 2008 March 2008 April 2008 May 2008 June 2008 July 2008 August 2008 September 2008 January 2009 June 2009 |
does it pay to be honest? it was my honesty that could have caused someone to leave her job today. i dunnoe if i'm the link to her departure. but i was questioned by the manager and two other staff at my company whether she turned up on Monday. ok, this lady colleague of mine (miss A), working at the warehouse with me and some other guys, left the company today. I didnt see her on monday but on tuesday morning, she told me that she reached very early as she had to submit some urgent document to the boss. but she wasn't feeling well. she didnt punch her attendance card until near 10.30am, the time when we actually start work. but she left the company for the doctor caz she had diaherrea and vomitted. that was what i replied to the manager and the two other staff when they asked me, "did u see (miss A) on monday?" haiz. i saw (miss A) waiting outside. she was like questioned by them, as if she's some convict. probably someone had punched her card out after work.
when i went back to the warehouse, i told the guys what i said. then one of them said he forget to tell me to say that i've actually seen her instead. what's done cannot be undone, so i went back to my work.not long after, (miss A) came back, followed by another lady colleague from HR(Miss J). (miss A) was packing her stuff and was handling the things over to (Miss J). i was so shocked! But she wasn't angry with me or anything.. then the guys later told me that it's not my fault. I guess some events had already happened before i came into the company. Something like, punching the card out at 7.30pm( our working hours are from 10.30am to 7.30pm) when she's not around. I then heard.. the manager was already "eyeing" on her. Probably she had a bad record.. but from the week that i was working with her, she's really friendly and hardworking! I'm really curious what actually happened! But i won't get to know anything more. Everyone went back to normal, getting busy with their work. What's worst is that, we'll be having a meeting with the big boss tml morning. even me, a temporary staff is implicated into this situation.. I wonder what is going to happen tomorrow. :( goooooooosh! :: dawn tan :: at 9:55 PM |
