my brother was hospitalised yesterday night for a pretty serious throat infection. Heard from my sister that his throat was swollen. poor thing. As his dear dear sister, i took half-day leave from work to visit him this morning with my parents. What's ironical is that today is my mum's birthday! Actually i was thinking of buying my mum a cake and celebrate for her, but she was worried about my bro and insisted that i dun buy a cake. :( ok, back to my bro, he looked like he is on his road to recovery but still complains of serious pain in his throat. Well, hope he gets well soon!
after visiting him, i went to lunch with my parents at an eating place that sells real delicious curry fish head at race course rd. the food was splendid and we finished the big fish head! keke.
after lunch, it's back to raffles place for work! I met deare before going back to office. Wanted to find a place to sit down n let him enjoy his footlong lunch, but there were no available seats around, n we decided that he goes back to his office for his hefty lunch. so sad, caz we didnt get to spend much time together. but it's ok! we'll still get to meet for lunch still! hehe.
well, nothing to talk much about work but.. it's still.. more cancelling of information with a black marker, getting bullied by the guys in the warehouse.. but probably what's more interesting at work will be - listening to the guys gossipping about the new logistics manager! The previous one resigned, reason? undisclosed! ha! hope this new manager knows the "rules" that the guys play. wish him luck! :D
