"Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easliy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."
1 Cor 13:4-8

"Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people.
It is the inner struggle to polish these attributes that is the key. Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality."
-Ikeda Sensei, Wisdom of Words

there can always be a twist in life.

Remember my previous entry about how sad am i for not being able to be in the canoepolo (cp) team? but, i decided to be thick-skinned and told them that i'm really interested and want to train with them! i guess it's all about opportunities. There can be ups and downs in life. we just have to learn to accept and then, try to improve to excel. okok, i went for the training yesterday.. learning how to do eskimo roll, throwing the ball( side loop throw, high throw, passing). i was confused and not so good in the games. haha. Played two games, but i was super lost in the game. they are too fast for me to react! haha. Well, as for the eskimo roll, still need more tries to perfect the roll. i capsized myself over and over and over again to do this roll. not easy k! some take 3 weeks.. hope i dun take so long! haha. when u know how to do roll, u'll be more aggressive in the game caz u won't have the psychological barrier that someone will hand-tackle and make u capsize!Even though now im going for CP training, i don't think i'm in the competitive team. However, i'm keeping my fingers crossed. Cp is an aggressive game and definitely more interesting than canoeing! i think i would prefer leisure canoeing, expedition kind than to competitive. Haha, i'm not fast enough to row K-2 again la. i must admit it. hehe. Most of the girls in cp are in canoeing too, and they asked me to join back canoeing.. but i really don't want. Because, like i say, i'm not fast enough and, i don't want to waste the amount of money spent to improve my facial skin! Blazing hot sun + dirty kallang water = disaster! ;P
