At the wee hours of the night, as i was reading my econs book, out came creeking sounds.. *creek creek creek*! Initially the sound came from outside of the window. But moments later, it came within the room! A silly me thought it was a cricket. So i switched on the light to search for the supposedly cricket. As i creeped to my bedside, i saw the most disgusting creature on Earth, LIZARD! *EekS!* i shrieked and startled Peijun from her sleep. I was still very freaked out when i was holding the Baygone to "kill" the lizard no. 1! It wouldn't die. Instead, it was moving to and fro the walls behind our beds! Finally, i found it at beside Peijun's table. With the Baygone in hand, i sprayed with no mercy on it! Lizard No. 1 ran away again.. and disappeared!
At this moment, both of us were so freaked out. As so we thought there was only 1 lizard, another came out from the window. Opening act of Lizard no. 2! It is HUGE! eeks. i shrieked again. And, once and again, sprayed Baygone on it. It dropped onto the top shelf of Peijun's study table. Haha, i'll never catch it with my bare hands, so i got hold of a container, on my table, to trap it. but when i went back to the crime scene, lizard no. 2 poofed! we suspected that it was in the paper bag that was placed at the top shelf. But both of us didnt dare to touch it. We are stuck!
So, James happened to be online (one of the sports com ppl in hall). I called for emergency that he has to come down immediately! haha. James to the rescue, with a NTUC plastic bag. I wonder how guys can have so much courage and not feel disgusted with this irriating creature. Anyway, he just took the paper bag, took out the notes inside, and grabbed the lizard with the plastic bag. Amazed! Oh, i didn't tell u. In my lifetime so far, it is my maiden attempt to try to spray lizards with baygone. I saw the little toes went red! the lizard must be very furious. haha. *yuck*
ok, with the lizard no. 2 conquered. The search for the lizard no.1 continued but it was in vain. So, James went off.. and he threw the lizard no. 2 into the bin outside the toilet at our level! i never went near the bin, till now. haha!
Both Peijun and I was so startled and digusted that we didnt manage to sleep till like near 4am in the morning. Finally we slept, with our legs facing the wall. haha. The next morning, as i woke up, i told Peijun i had a dream about lizards. Guess what? Peijun had a dream about these irritating creatures too! Looks like the lizards are leaving a permanent fear in us. We were talking about creating this pesticide that will kill lizards and croaches instantly! is there any by any chance?
Oh man, what a turmoil!
Lizards totally turn us off!
Oh by the way, lizard no.1 is still hiding somewhere......... in my room still!!!
