Lately, I am doing a research project with my course mates regarding the durability of disposable soft contact lenses.
So, I am looking into the different types such as daily, biweekly, monthly and yearly.
I have always enjoyed doing research, like sourcing for information, because along the way, there are so many details to learn from.
By reading all the information, I am, still, so astonished by the advancement in technology.
So, I've decided to look for an attachment company who emphasizes on R&D for my attachment next year!
I should do what I like. and, I must succeed! *inspired by Adam Khoo..*
Despite the 'rumoured' stress level, I think the excitement of all these research will outweigh it.
Anyway, back to the contact lenses..
I was at Whitesands on Saturday, then they happened to have a contact lenses roadshow.
So after tuition, I went to the booths (acuvue and B&L) and see if they can help me in this project.
At Acuvue - I approached a promoter and grilled her with my technical questions. Haha, I must say this company has trained their staff well.
As for B&L, their marketing executive was there. So, yeap, made use of the chance to ask him all the questions that I need for this project.
I also went into an optician shop to interview one of the opticians.
Not a very good interview, but at least I managed to squeeze some info out from the optician.
:)
I must say it had been an experience.
Walking around these booths and the shop, telling them I am from ntu doing blahblahblah.
Took alot of courage. Hehe.
Then they asked if I want to be a contact lens promoter..
Tempting, but I have 1 major problem.
I don't even dare to wear contact lenses, how am i supposed to help the others to put them on?
*yikes*
So, with no hesitation, I rejected the offer! ;P
