"Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easliy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."
1 Cor 13:4-8

"Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people.
It is the inner struggle to polish these attributes that is the key. Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality."
-Ikeda Sensei, Wisdom of Words

that sense of urgency..

Yeap, it is that time of the semester again.
All over again, we bury ourselves into the notes and textbooks and
try our ultimate best to get everything understood.
With that, we can pour all the details into that exam booklet in a
time span of two and a half hour.
I'm feeling complacent. *geez*
In year 1, I was more aggressive in the studying and more focused.
Now, I feel that I can just study at my pace without much worries.
Darn, that won't do any good to me.
I'm searching for that 'urgency' all over again.
I will find it, soon I hope.
Even if it is 'here', it is still not sufficient.

Till then, the results will show how much effort I had put in.

Good luck my friends. (".)

a long weekend ahead..

It is going to be a very long weekend for me this week.
dear won't be booking out this Saturday, and I have always been spending
my weekend with him.
Oh man.. it is going to feel so awkward.
Guess what I can do is to bury myself with the textbooks, lecture notes and tutorials.
I shall spend my time mugging for the tests that are coming up next week.

Can't wait for this and next week to pass..

Missing ya baby!

my lovely and cheeky cousins!
They bring much laughter and joy to the family.
Watching them grow up is such an enjoyment and bliss.
What more can I ask for? :)

39 months of love.. and blooming still!

On 8 Oct, we celebrated our 39 months together in a nice, cosy way.
Looking forward to 40th, 41st, 42nd... and more!
Thank you baby for the patience, love and care.

presentation.. mundane life..

Yeap, finally, that dreadful tech comm presentation is finally over.
I was very impressed with some of the groups with their presentation.
Learnt new stuff today, and I think they deserved an applause from me.
With such hectic timetable and they were able to come up with experiments and results.
Fantastic!
As for my group, we did well!
We covered what we had to and I am satisfied with our performance.
He may be a disaster to us, but that calmity is nothing but advices.
So let's move on with tech comm and work on the other modules.

Oh, finally, all my tuition assignments have come to an end.
PSLE is over and my sec1 boy is almost done with his exams.
They need a break, and I need the time for study.
Hopefully, I can spend all these free time fruitfully - studying.

Need to get a grip, get well soon and start gearing up for this race course.

rush hour.. sacrifices

This week has been another rush hour movie.

Lab report to complete, tech comm project to finish up, revision to do,
tutorials to catch up with and tuition to attend to.

Everything has not been settled with a nice finishing.
All this rush has gotten into my nerves, making me so moody.
When I get moody, I lose my self-discipline.
And when I lose it, I will forget to watch my diet.
I know how much I need to lose those pounds, but I am not doing anything right.
Which means, I am not focused enough.
It is kind of sickening, especially when people starts to comment that I look different (in a bad way).
Ok, probably I am self-conscious after all.

I missed my jogging along the 199 route or to the running track at src from my hall.
I prefer to jog alone with my mp3.
Some time alone, away from those notes and text, is beneficial for me.
As soon as PSLE ends, I will be able to stay in hall on tues and thurs too!
Then I will be able to jog on these two days, in addition to my usual wed and fri run.
*can't wait*

I didn't go to cp training again.
I really want to commit, but training is on friday and sunday evening.
Weird timings.
But that is not the reason,
I just want to spend as much time with dear as possible.
Sunday evening he will book in, and of course, I will want to spend the day with him and dinner with him, and send him to pasir ris.
Like all common people's saying, we can't have best of both worlds.
Guess I have to make a sacrifice.
Without saying, it would be cp training.
I will still attend Friday's training.
When PSLE ends, I will attend Tuesday's slot that is meant for the guys.
That will make up for the absence of training on sunday ya?
But we are taking a break soon due to exams. *oh man..*
I still like to play cpolo, but I need to make an effort.
I will work it out.

Till then, i hope yz understand...
