"Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easliy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."
1 Cor 13:4-8

"Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people.
It is the inner struggle to polish these attributes that is the key. Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality."
-Ikeda Sensei, Wisdom of Words

who is to comment what is 'happening'...

i don't really know where to start and what to write.
Holidays are holidays.
How different can they be?
I've been slacking infront of television programmes, having brunch and dinner, ran, gymed, go to granny's to play with my cousins, go for mb103 every thursday morning, library visits, shopped, meet ups, work over the weekends, meet up with dear in the morning...

so you can see, i don't really have much to do.
but one thing, i like to laze at home.
why?

first, i don't have to spend money.
second, i can watch tv prog all day long.
third, i can do skipping rope or twisting on the twister any time i like.
fourth, i can tap into pple's wireless and surf the net.
fifth, i can play cd-mahjong.
last but not least, i can do window online shopping.

that is why i don't feel any temptation to step out of the house.
well, i don't deny that i'll feel bored at some hour.
that is when i will get out of the house.

urgh, i miss the beach.
I miss the serenity and beauty of her.
Anyone care to rollerskate with me?
I am amaterish but I just love the feeling of being on the skates, and riding along the shore on the pathway.

i think i am just a simple being.
i don't really mind spending time alone or staying at home.
who is to say what is happening.
aye, i made lists to accomplish.
but it takes two to clap.
sometimes i just don't wish to make that clap.
well, choice is on me.
and i do accept what ever decision i make.

cash: double-edged..

to some, cash is not an issue.
why?
because it is always available and it isn't a chore to find it.
it can be found in ur bank account when ur parents transfer it to u.
or, placed on ur table when u asked for it.

but to many,
cash is a problematic issue.
Financial problems cracking up every now and then.
Bills, school fees, tuition fees, personal expenses...

Who says money isn't everything?
Don't we need it anywhere and what ever we do?

we can get by basic expenses.
but when expenses exceed spending power, we worry or try to find ways to get the funds we need.

We all know money isn't easy to come by.
Loans may be available.
but, they come with interest.

nothing is free in this world.
if only the earth is as simple as it was millions years ago.
without globalisation, no high cost of living...

these are just thoughts.
at the end of the day, it is still back to square 1.

Singapore votes..

People made their choices.
But was it expected or surprising?
In my opinion, I would say - surprising.

In the wards contested, except sembawang,
almost all met a decrease in margin between PAP and opposition.
Probably it meant something.

Everyone has different say with opposition and our democratic scene.
Do you stand by your vote with loyalty, benefits for self or nation?
The carrot of upgrading, financial aids and etc.
These callings are attractive.
They laid as some important factors to consider before deciding on whom to vote for.

However will these stay attractive to the young voters, in the next election?
We are not sure about it.

But, with a guess, the political scene will be pretty different then.

sem 2 is finally over!

The one-month exam is finally over. I am so done and over with the studying.
It is getting into my neck.
You just feel so tired of it, and can't wait to escape from it asap.
Well, now that it is over, it is time for myself.
Do as what i wish.

Oh, i'm starting work tmr at Changi Airport Transit Mall as an events promoter.
Changi Airport is celebrating her 25th anniversary, with a line of shopping frenzy promotions.
Events like, Silver Jackpot (where i'll be working) and Half-price deals will be on.
I'll be working at T2. And, it is a very busy terminal.
Hope it'll be quite an experience as I earn extra money.

Saving & earning money, exercising & cutting fats, meet-ups & hang outs are all part of my holiday agenda. :)

One last thing before I end,

SWEEtEST 21st, AUDREY!

* a little kiss for u. muack!*
