"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easliy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Cor 13:4-8 "Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people. It is the inner struggle to polish these attributes that is the key. Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality." -Ikeda Sensei, Wisdom of Words Archives December 2003 January 2004 February 2004 March 2004 April 2004 May 2004 June 2004 July 2004 August 2004 September 2004 October 2004 November 2004 December 2004 January 2005 February 2005 March 2005 April 2005 May 2005 June 2005 July 2005 August 2005 September 2005 October 2005 November 2005 December 2005 January 2006 February 2006 March 2006 April 2006 May 2006 June 2006 July 2006 August 2006 September 2006 October 2006 December 2006 January 2007 February 2007 March 2007 April 2007 May 2007 June 2007 July 2007 August 2007 September 2007 October 2007 November 2007 December 2007 January 2008 March 2008 April 2008 May 2008 June 2008 July 2008 August 2008 September 2008 January 2009 June 2009 |
contemplating... My last day of work will be Monday, 3 july. I don't really want to leave the job cause it is really easy money and the colleagues are a nice bunch of funny and spontaneous people. But the timing of my job (3pm to 11pm) is putting me in a very difficult and no-life position. Yea, I thought of changing the timing. But it is either too early or too late. I considered doing half-price deals on either Sat or Sun. Then again, I have my other-half and camp commitments. Despite the irresponsible remark by one of the management team, I don't really mind staying on as a part-time on either Sat (6am to 10pm) or Sun (7am to 11pm). The $$ that I would be able to earn in a month or till Oct will help me alot with my personal finances. Seriously, I don't mind doing sales for half-price deal. That is so much alive as a job. More interaction with passengers and free-time on site. But if I look at the bigger picture, I know I can't take up the job. *shrug* Hah, I can say, it's not easy to be a ns-man gf. Sacrifices have to be made, so.. I guess I will look into tuition assignments again. Probably get another student to fit into my weekday timetable. Anyone has any good deal for me? :: dawn tan :: at 11:13 AM Sale of one week old Zen Neeon 1GB MP3 player Hey people, I am trying to sell my one-week old Zen Neeon 1Gb player from Creative. :: dawn tan :: at 4:35 PM i am a messy girl. just can't get things tidied up. :: dawn tan :: at 2:26 AM work and the environment.. work can be so fun when we are working with fun people. but when management steps in and make stupid remarks.. it just dull all the excitement! haiz.. so irritating! thank goodness that this is a brainless job. if not, i won't be staying on! :: dawn tan :: at 12:29 PM Reasons to why guys won't want to bring their gf to club.. Thought this is a pretty interesting topic to think and remark about!
I don't know how true are these reasons. But probably some of u all will agree with me. nonetheless, if your guy don't want to bring you out, it'll be more fun to party with your galfriends instead. And who knows, maybe a guy will buy you drink! :P :: dawn tan :: at 11:25 PM empty space.. "our envy of others devours us most of all." i know the infamous green monster is always hidden somewhere inside me. there was this day when i heard over the radio about being envy of your friends and how to dissolve this problem. she talked about ways you can tackle the problem with tact. somehow, in conclusion, i felt that it leaves an empty space in the puzzle of emotions. is it such an easy issue to be dealt with? or, is it truly a sin to be envious of another? i do not blame others of my circumstance. we can only blame ourselves for our own positioning. cause, we are responsible for our own actions. likewise, the future depends on one's making. think about it. without envy, where will motivation appears? it is science. the push-pull factors. without a push behind your back, the amount of work needed for the pull will be magnified. emotions are complex. they often come together. so much so, it is diffcult to segment them and understand what you are feeling truly. i would say, this issue will stay for quite some time. it will be demanding to ask of me to forget or rather, being ignorant of the events. probably i will smile and turn away. but i know, i can't escape from the reality of events. i know i am talking in circles. that is because i feel like i am in a maze. so trapped after multiple attempts of escape. just too tired to find a solution and embrace a new world.
